What is verification?
The Office of Financial Aid will require the student and parent to verify the information contained on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before any financial aid can be awarded and or disbursed. This process is mandatory by the Department of Education. Longwood allows you 30 days to submit all required documentation.

You will have 30 days to submit the required documents. All federal, state and university aid will be cancelled if you do not submit the required documents. You will be responsible for all charges.
Per Federal guidelines, we cannot accept federal tax returns. Your tax return transcript will be available approximately three weeks after your tax return is filed.
