Major Changes to summer 2008 processing
Students desiring to add, drop, or change their course schedule for courses ending after June 30, 2008 will have to complete a Schedule Change Form found at http://www.longwood.edu/registrar/forms.htm. Once the form is completed you may bring it to the Registration Office in Barlow or fax it to
(434) 395-2252.
Due to the implementation of the new student information software system, there will be MAJOR changes in the billing process.
Billing statements for summer courses and room and board assignments for classes beginning and ending during the time period of May 2008 thru June 2008 will be generated weekly beginning in April and continue thru June 20, 2008. These billing statements will not include a course schedule.
All other courses with an end date after June 30, 2008 will be assessed charges and billed after July 1, 2008. Therefore, your account information on Touchnet/myLongwood and your billing statement(s) may NOT reflect the TOTAL charges for ALL courses for which you are registered. These billings will include a course schedule.
If you receive a refund due to financial aid, it may be necessary for you to use this refund to pay for tuition, fees, room, and board charges assessed after
July 1, 2008. There are no other changes to the way financial aid is awarded for summer.
