Non-Degree Seeking (Non-Admitted) Students
Visit the Registrar's website for up-to-date course listings.
- No secure sign-in required. Open to all.
- Choose "Term" (example: Fall 2009) & Submit.
- Choose "Subject" & "Course Level" (Graduate) then Submit.
Degree-Seeking or Licensure-Only (Admitted) Students
Go to myLongwood for up-to-date course listings, for billing and financial aid information, official notices, and to register for, add or drop classes.
Steps to follow to locate a class and register for that class through myLongwood:
- Secure sign-in required
- Choose "Student" Tab
- Scroll to "Registration Tools"
- Choose "Look Up Classes"
- Choose "Term" (example: Fall 2009) & Submit
- Choose "Subject" & "Course Level" (Graduate) then Submit
- Be sure on each course listing to click on the CRN for complete information about the course including meeting dates, registration deadlines, prerequisites, and location.
- To Register or Add / Drop classes choose "Add or Drop Classes"
Registration Reminders
- Non-degree seeking, non-admitted, and special students may register for on-campus, off-campus, or online courses via regular mail, via fax (434.395.2252), or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall, using the Longwood On-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf) or Longwood Off-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf) and the Application for Virginia In-State Tuition Rates (pdf). The In-State Tuition form is required if this is the first time you are registering for a Longwood course or if it has been more than 12 months since you registered for a Longwood course or if your official residence has changed.
- Admitted Graduate Degree & Graduate Licensure Students may register for on-campus, off-campus or online courses via myLongwood (see above for directions) via regular mail, via fax (434.395.2252), or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall.
NOTE: Comprehensive examination, thesis, collaborative research, teacher research, lecture/recital registration CANNOT be done via myLongwood. It must be done via regular mail or via fax (434.395.2252) to the Registration Office or in person using the Longwood On-Campus Course Registration Form (pdf).
