Duties:

  • Greet and direct students (schedule appointments, assist in Resource Room, register for workshops, inform about/recommend services)
  • Process internship and job opportunities (enter in CareerConnect & LinkedIn, email to students, post where appropriate)
  • Hold walk-in hours for students about 8-10 hours/week on a regular basis
  • Participate in staff meetings (contribute ideas and provide feedback)
  • Develop flyers/posters/signs to advertise the Academic & Career Advising Center and other events and/or services
  • Organize and coordinate Diversity Career Day activities
  • Be familiar with Academic & Career Advising Center services and resources
  • Maintain bulletin boards and resource shelves in the hallway
  • Contribute to multiple job fair preparations and events
  • Provide customer services to students, employers, and others by phone, email, and in-person
  • Other duties as needed
