The program in curriculum and instruction specialist in physical education is designed for practicing elementary and secondary physical education teachers who want to improve teaching skills and acquire expertise in program design.

Students admitted to this program are expected to have an undergraduate teaching education major in physical education. Consideration will be given to those presenting a physical education minor or physical education non-teaching degree, but more undergraduate preparation may be required.
