After more than a year of research and design work, Longwood introduced a plan for the next decade and beyond that builds on the things we all love about Longwood—the natural beauty, unparalleled camaraderie and unique history. The plan envisions truly great gathering spaces for our students and community, among them gardens, a new performing arts center and even urban baseball and softball stadiums that could help transform downtown.
At the heart of the vision is a commitment to knit the campus and downtown Farmville more closely together. That vision can be seen on full display—from the first sketches to the final renderings—at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts through January 24, 2016.
