Changing The E-mail Address On Your Blackboard Account:

Read here before using a non-Longwood e-mail address

On the My Longwood tab inside of Blackboard in the Tools area in the top left corner:

Click on Personal Information

Click on Edit Personal Information

Change your address to the desired new address.  Check for typographical errors.

Hit Submit

Be aware that changing your address to a invalid address will impede your ability utilize the "Lost Password?" feature and will prevent you from receiving communications from your instructor.  Having issues with a non-Longwood e-mail address is not an excuse for late assignments.  This is why Longwood provides WebMail for your use.  It can be accessed from any internet connection using almost any web browser.  Also, all official communications from the University will be sent to this address.
