If I click on a quiz or test my instructor has posted, I see a box with a
red x in it where a formula should be. How do I fix that?:

formula wizard in Blackboard requires the JAVA JRE which is software that allows
you to perform additional functions, usually from the Internet. An example
is shown below:

About half way down the page, click
on the link under “J2SE v 1.4.2_0x JRE includes the JVM technology”
called “Download J2SE JRE” (x in the line above will be some
number). Follow the installation instructions
and options.
