Student Email Address Format
Effective October 2008, the format for all student email addresses will change. Previously, the student email address consisted of the student's initials followed by three randomly generated numbers, e.g., jad123@longwood.edu. The new format is the first and last name (separated by a dot) @live.longwood.edu, e.g., john.doe@live.longwood.edu. Please note: in the event of duplicates, numbers will be assigned at the end of the name, e.g., john.doe2@live.longwood.edu.

Please note that students will continue to use their LancerNet ID (abc123 format) and password to access all systems that currently require them EXCEPT email.
