RTA Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Resident Technology Associates and the RTA assistants to provide quality support to Longwood University students with a high degree of customer service and technical expertise and to develop and enhance the technical skills of Longwood University students.
The Program
The Resident Technology Associates and Assistants at Longwood University are among the most skilled with technology on this campus. Their technical expertise combined with their enthusiasm and dedication to provide excellent service to the Longwood student body makes them an important asset.
The RTAs provide one-on-one support, teach formal training classes, and form peer technology support groups within residence halls. The RTAs report to school early each Fall and Spring to receive the latest technology training.
