The Suffolk News-Herald article "Excellence runs in this family" tells the story of Eric Riley, Nansemond River High School valedictorian and now a Longwood honors freshman. Riley is the brother of recent Longwood graduate, Beth Riley, also a member of the Cormier Honors College, who has returned to Longwood for her Master's degree.
