Camphouse & Bunk Houses
The Camphouse has 3 standard bedrooms downstairs and a large upstairs room. There are 10 single beds (some are bunk beds) and two double beds, 1 bathroom, a large living room/dining room combination, kitchen, and screened front porch. This "rustic" facility is used primarily by student research groups but is available for other groups. It is heated by a wood stove and has window air conditioning units.
A bunkhouse is located near the Camphouse. The bunkhouse sleeps 8. There is also a small building with bathroom facilities. The Camphouse overlooks Aimes Creek and has the use of a dock.
The Camphouse was built right before World War II (around 1941). There used to be three bunkhouses, but one was destroyed when a tree fell on it. The second remaining bunkhouse is used for storage.
