Individuals remotely accessing university IT resources and systems from non-university owned computing devices may use:
- Publically available web-based applications
- Web-based VPN
- Office computers via RDP
- all other devices via ITS approved methods (ex. RDP, SSH, pcAnywhere)
- WebEx service
University Owned Computing Device
Individuals remotely accessing university IT resources and systems from university owned computing devices may use:
- Publically available web-based applications
- Web-based VPN
- Office computers via RDP
- all other devices via ITS approved methods (ex. RDP, SSH, pcAnywhere)
- WebEx service
- Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology installed on the device
University or Non-University Owned Handheld Devices
Individuals remotely accessing university IT resources and systems from university owned or non-university owned handheld devices may use:
- Publically available web-based applications
- BlackBerry device activated on the university BlackBerry Enterprise Server
