Antivirus Tips:

Always keep your antivirus software files up-to-date. Typically, your McAfee antivirus software is configured to automatically update your DAT files (virus signatures) once a week. Sometimes it may be necessary to update your DAT files more frequently such as when a new virus is spreading and McAfee releases updated DAT files to detect this new virus before your normal scheduled update will take place. Under these circumstances you may be asked to manually force an update of your software. See How to manually update your DAT files for more information.

Be cautious of unknown attachments and e-mails.

Be careful not to fall for some story that seems too good to be true.

Never forward an e-mail that contains a virus warning or sad story or get-rich-quick scheme. These e-mails should be deleted immediately.
Remember that User Support Services can help you in many ways such as answering minor security questions and helping with password changes, lockouts and virus software.
