IITS Security Program Assessment
In order to assess the effectiveness of the information security program we are planning an annual survey and gap analysis. This self-study will be focused within Information and Instructional Technology Services (IITS) to determine how we are complying with our policies, procedures and standards.
How will this change affect me?
Because this assessment will occur internally to IITS most campus users will be unaware that this process has been undertaken. However, the results of this assessment will help us determine areas of improvement for effectively securing Longwood IT resources and systems which will benefit all users.
When will this change happen?
Our goal is to implement this process during fiscal year 2010.
