Changing Your Password

• Your password is your LancerNet Password. It is the same one you use for Longwood network and E-mail access.  It changes every 90 days.  As a preventive measure, create a profile on the CYPHIR (Change Your Password or Have It Reset) website in case you have trouble logging in during non-business hours.  That way, if you have problems, you can easily reset your password by answering the questions you've selected in the CYPHIR set up.
• If you do not know your password, on-campus users are asked to come by Longwood's User Support Services.   Phone support is available weekdays between 8:15 AM and 5 PM at 434-395-4357 .
• The Blackboard password and ID are now currently synced with other campus systems like WebMail and network access.  Changing the password  within Blackboard is NOT possible any longer.  Change it through the CYPHIR site or you can use the Change Password option from Longwood's network by using the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination.
