If I click on a quiz or test my instructor has posted, I see a box with a red x in it where a formula should be.  How do I fix that?:

The formula wizard in Blackboard requires the JAVA JRE which is software that allows you to perform additional functions, usually from the Internet.  An example is shown below:

To obtain this software, go out to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html (opens in new window)

About half way down the page, click on the link under “J2SE v 1.4.2_0x  JRE  includes the JVM technology” called “Download J2SE JRE”  (x in the line above will be some number).  Follow the installation instructions and options.
