Problems Logging On To Longwood's Blackboard Site?

Click on "Login" at the main gateway page which is shown below.

The entry page should appear

You will need a valid user name and password before accessing Longwood's Blackboard site

Enter your username and password

• Your username is the first part (before the @ symbol) of your Longwood University E-mail address.
• Your password is your LancerNet Password. It is the same one you use for Longwood network and E-mail access.  It changes every 90 days.  As a preventive measure, create a profile on they CYPHIR (Change Your Password or Have It Reset) website in case you have trouble logging in during non-business hours.
• If you do not know your password, on-campus users are asked to come by Longwood's User Support Services.   Phone support is available weekdays between 8:15 AM and 5 PM at 434-395-4357 .
• The Blackboard password and ID are now currently synced with other campus systems like WebMail and network access.  Changing the password  within Blackboard is NOT possible any longer.  Change it through the CYPHIR site or you can use the Change Password option from Longwood's network by using the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination.

If you do not know your password or have changed it from the original, you can also utilize the "Forgot password?" feature.  To do this:

• Click on the link named "Forgot Password?" and you'll be taken to the CYPHIR site.
