Speech-Language Services
Screening, Evaluation, and Therapy
Services at the center are provided by Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate students. Students are supervised by faculty and clinical supervisors who are nationally certified, Commonwealth of Virginia licensed professionals with many years of experience and expertise. The clinical supervisors provide ongoing, direct supervision of all assessment and intervention activities. Services are provided individually or in small groups. Family members are encouraged to be involved.

Screenings
- Screening of a child or adult's speech-language abilities conducted at the Center or on-site (e.g., at a day care center)
- Screening of a child or adult's hearing conducted at the Center or on-site
Evaluations
- Articulation (speech sound production)
- Language (oral and written language) for children
- Language (oral and written) for adults who had strokes or other brain injury
- Voice
- Fluency (stuttering)
