Run, Jump, Play, and Learn on Brock Commons

Need an activity for a group of kids this summer? The LCVA’s tour of the Brock Commons Outdoor Sculpture Program provides the perfect opportunity to run, jump, play, and learn during long summer days. During a tour of the five large-scale sculptures, children will learn about contemporary art, art materials, and artists in a lovely park-like setting. While walking through the Commons, children can stop and cool off in the playful “squirting” fountain, draw on the sidewalk with chalk, and sip on a refreshing juice box.

Registration required. No charge. Juice provided. Groups of six or more and ages 12 and younger are welcome. One adult per six children must accompany the group tour.

Please call Emily Grabiec, curator of education, at 434 395 2648 or email grabiecea at longwood.edu to arrange a tour.
