SUMMER ART STUDIO FOR KIDS

Each summer, the LCVA opens its free Summer Art Studio. Open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on summer weekdays, the LCVA’s classroom welcomes drop-in visitors who want to escape the heat and make something cool. An attendant is on hand to provide materials and instructions, but children must be accompanied by adults. Activities change every other week.

June 19 - July 1	“It’s Greek (& Roman) to Me!” Grecian urns, mosaics, and mythology
July 4 - 15	“A Great First Impression(ism)” Art by Van Gogh, Seurat, Monet, and Degas
July 18 - 29	“The Mod Squad” Art by Warhol, Rothko, Calder, and Pollock
August 1-5	“A Future Age” Time capsules, futuristic buildings, and robots
