The primary mission of the Office of Leadership & Student Engagement is to aid in the adjustment of incoming first-year students and to develop citizen leaders that can meet the demands of today’s complex world. In accordance with this mission, the Office of Leadership & Student Engagement will develop and implement a comprehensive, continuing orientation program for new students and their families, and also strive to create meaningful leadership and learning opportunities for all. The goals of these programs are to create an environment, which supports and challenges our students as they seek academic and social success and become actively involved and enthusiastic about the Longwood experience.
