Teaching in the Elementary School (12 credits) NOTE: STUDENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 2.5 GPA BOTH IN THEIR LIBERAL STUDIES MAJOR AND OVERALL TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR STUDENT TEACHING PLACEMENT. THEY MUST ALSO BE FORMALLY ADMITTED TO THE TEACHER PREPARATION PROGRAM AND HAVE AT LEAST A "C" IN ENGL 150, EDUC 260 and 245. TO OBTAIN LICENSURE STUDENTS MUST MAINTAIN A 2.75 GPA IN THE PROFESSIONAL SEMESTER AND ACHIEVE A PASSING SCORE ON PRAXIS I AND II. |
