Printing & Copying

Internet Printing

The Library's Internet printers use the same pay for printing system used in the Longwood Computing Labs. Each registered student will be given a quota of 150 pages of free black and white printing for the fall semester. There will also be a quota of 150 pages of free black and white printing for the spring semester. Summer printing quotas are limited to 75 free pages for all registered students. Additional laser printing beyond the quota is available at $.09 cents per page. Please read the University’s Academic Computing Laboratories Printing Policy for further information.

As of August 1, 2006, all patrons will need a current Longwood identification card for all computer-related printing. Copy card computer printing will no longer be available. Community patrons may save files to floppy disks, zip disks or USB storage devices; save to the workstation's public folder and email as an attachment; or burn to a CD.

Photocopying

Library patrons may make their own copies at copy machines on the Library's 1st floor using cash or prepaid copy cards for sale at the photocopiers.

Copy cards are available for $1.00 for the cost of the card. Value is added to the card using change or dollar bills. Photocopies made with a copy card cost $.05 per copy.

Library patrons may also make self-service copies on a cash basis. Photocopies made with cash cost $.10 per copy.
