Online Article URL Request Form

Faculty who would like to link directly to an online journal article from Blackboard may complete the form below to have Library staff check to see if a persistent URL is available to link directly to an article. You will receive an email indicating the article URL (with the required proxy prefix for off-campus access) if direct linking is available. If direct linking is not available, you will receive an email with this information.

Article URLs should not be posted on instructor websites or any other location that is not restricted to the students enrolled in the course for which the article is being used. It is a violation of the license agreements with the full-text providers to do so.

Please call Evelyn Sims at 395.2437 or the Circulation/Reserve Desk at 395.2433, or email reserves@longwood.edu if you have questions about this service or other issues related to course reserves.
