Prove Popular
Thank you to those
alumni and students who have ordered Longwood license plates from
DMV. You not only show your pride in your alma mater, but you
also help to increase our scholarship funds. Each time a person
orders a new Longwood plate or renews an existing one, the College
receives a contribution from the State to support student scholarships.
If you
do not have a Longwood license plate, you can order one at any
Virginia DMV Office.

Having an 80th Birthday Party
The Class of 1942
has decided to have a different type of reunion a joint
80th birthday celebration in Williamsburg on October 3-5,
2001. Nancy
Dupuy Wilson from North Carolina and the planning committee have
developed a
full schedule of activities including a Happy Hour and dinner,
exercise session, memorial service, and a big birthday party.

Mark Your Calendar for October 5 & 6, 2001.
Longwood will celebrate the Decade of the 70s Reunion on Oktoberfest,
so make plans to return to campus for this special reunion. The
events will begin Friday night and will conclude around 8:30
Saturday night. You will receive detailed information in August.
Since the reunion is on Oktoberfest weekend, you should make motel
reservations immediately if you plan to stay overnight. You can
