1996-2006

Longwood University's progress during the last decade has been tremendous.

Total Enrollment went up 32%.
Freshman Applications went up 59%
Endowment went up 262%
Freshman Class Size went up 35%

Freshman selectivity also on the rise ... The average hight schol GPA for incoming freshmen has risen from 3.04 in 1996 to 3.31 in 2006 ... while the average SAT Score for incoming freshmen has risen 3.4 percent from 1996 to 2006
