Longwood athletics hosted the second annual Lancer Invitational, a powerlifting meet for athletes from the Special Olympics, on Feb. 17. The event, which was organized by former Longwood baseball player and current assistant director of sports performance C.J. Roth ’16, drew 17 participants and more than 100 spectators and volunteers, many of them student-athletes, to Iler Hall.
