Reconciling Credits The cardholder must compare the credit documentation provided by the vendor/supplier to the MASTERCARD statement to insure credits are accurately listed on the MASTERCARD statement. If the credit does not appear on the MASTERCARD statement, make a note in the file or on the log and then keep this documentation so it can be used when reconciling a subsequent statement. It sometimes takes several months for a credit to appear. Credits must be totaled separately from charges. DO NOT subtract credits from charges. Payment will be processed in full according to the statement balance. |
