Materiel Management

Who are we?

The Longwood University Materiel Management and Purchasing Department is responsible for all procurement for the university in compliance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act and the Governing Rules (pdf) of the Procurement Manual for Institutions of Higher Education and Their Vendors (pdf).

Our goal is to ensure that goods and services purchased are of the proper quality, proper quantity, at the lowest available cost, and received within a reasonable period of time.
