As stated on the Scholarly Activity page, there are many opportunities for students to engage in scholarly activity and research within the department.  We consider student presentations an important component of the learning experience at Longwood.  Thus most of our students give presentations to the faculty and other students in the department as part of a class project, a directed study, an internship, etc.  Some of these endeavors also result in students giving presentations or posters outside the department.  These venues include the Longwood University Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences (LU CCCAS) Showcase and regional or national conferences.  Below is a list of papers and recent external presentations or posters given by our students.
