Mission

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is committed to enhancing and maintaining a culturally diverse and pluralistic academic community. An equal concern is to ensure that women and individuals from underrepresented groups have opportunities to develop their potential both academically and socially.

In order to create a campus of difference, the office works collaboratively to build an inclusive intercultural Campus Community and prepares future Citizen Leaders able to contribute to the Common Good. Additional, the Director of Multicultural Affairs also serves as the International Student Advisor and strives to provide a welcoming environment for international students by offering timely and pertinent information and counseling pertaining to immigration regulations and procedures. The office initiates various services to make all students feel welcome and to enrich their educational and academic stay at the University and in the United States.
