LONNIE I. CALHOUN, III Biography Degrees: B.A. in Ethnic Studies with an additional focus on African History and Political Development, the City College of New York, NY, 1976 Master of Arts in Comparative and International Education, Columbia University, Teacher’s College, NY, 1979 Lonnie is a member of Comparative and International Education Society, Jujitsu American America- Life Membership, National Association Foreign Students Advisors, American Association of Colleges and Universities, National Association for Multicultural Educators, and the Washington DC Film Society. Lonnie has spoken to various groups related to diversity and interculturalism competencies, civic participation and democracy. Lonnie has primary interests in politics both international and national, film, video and photography, the martial arts, kayaking, mountain biking, and the family.
