The Greenwood Library has created an information and curriculum support site for the 2008 MLK Symposium: http://libguides.longwood.edu/mlk. It includes information about MLK speaker Paula Crisostomo, the Los Angeles high school Mexican American student strikes in 1968, the Prince Edward County student strike in 1951 and subsequent school closing, Brown v. Board of Education, and Martin Luther King, Jr.  Books, DVDs and electronic resources in the Greenwood Library are highlighted along with relevant websites.  Users can leave comments and rate resources.
