Modern Language majors are
required to spend at least one semester in a college-approved study abroad
program. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least
2.5 to be eligible for study abroad.
The International Affairs
Office has scholarship funds to help with the expenses of participants
in study-abroad programs. All Longwood students are eligible. Students
accepting study-abroad aid agree to continue their language studies at
Longwood during the year following their return, and to actively participate
in language-related activities.
