The Office of Multicultural Affairs dedicates the third week in January to a celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Longwood students participate in an exciting and educational week of service, community building, fun, conversation, and learning.
Our week begins with a Saturday MLK Service Challenge, a "day on" and not a day off where faculty, staff, and students give back to their local community.
Interactive opportunity for our community to raise awareness about the serious causes, effects and remediation of sexual misconduct, specifically focusing on consent.
The hashtag and image “#IASK” is used to market the event, encourage the main goal of the event and continue the conversation after the event.
The program affords the campus community time to learn more about consent, ask the tough questions and show there support for healthy relationships
Graduating seniors celebrate their accomplishments and positive contributions to diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice on Longwood Campus.
