Through the wonders of today's technology, we have established contact with Longwood alum, Tim Hale, Class of 1989, who is serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq as part of "Operation Iraqi Freedom." Because of security concerns, we cannot tell you his unit or exact location--the "Loose Lips Sink Ships" maxim still applies today. Well, this is my last SITREP. I've been humbled by all of the support from back home. I just wish that kind of support made its way to the media more often when there aren't times of crisis.
