Longwood's Citizen Leader Awards announced

Longwood University recently announced its annual Citizen Leader Awards. The awards recognize students, faculty, staff, and student organizations that have made positive contributions to the Longwood community throughout this academic year. This program is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and coordinated by the Offices of Leadership and New Student Programs and Student Union and Activities.

"The Citizen Leader Awards are directly linked to Longwood's mission to develop citizen leaders who are prepared to make positive contributions to the common good of society," said Dr. Kerstin Soderlund, director of leadership and new student programs. "There is no doubt that the students honored at this awards ceremony will continue to make positive contributions to any community in which they live. They have clearly embraced the concepts of civic engagement and service."
