16 February 2004 President of ARAMARK division to be Executive-in-Residence at Longwood
Donovan, who works at the company's headquarters in Philadelphia, will speak at 7 p.m. in Hiner Auditorium (207) on Constructive Conflict: Making Diversity Mean Something. He is the fourth speaker in the fourth annual Executive-in-Residence series, sponsored by SunTrust. The public is invited. Donovan leads the teams that manage all of ARAMARK's operations at thousands of business locations, refreshment services locations, conference centers and correctional facilities as well as stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, convention centers and tourist attractions. He is one of the top three executives in the company, which has been Longwood's dining-service provider since 1955. In fact, this is ARAMARK's 50 th anniversary and Longwood was one of its first customers. Prior to assuming his current position in January 2004, he was president of ARAMARK Education Services, leading a team that managed food and support services for more than 400 colleges, universities and preparatory schools and more than 330 school districts across the country. He joined ARAMARK in 1988 and has held several positions, including president of the Correctional Services group, regional vice president and national vice president for sales and marketing in business services. He is a graduate of Duke University and has a master's degree from the University of South Alabama.
