Longwood to host Graduate Fair at Powhatan High School

A Longwood University Graduate Fair, in which information about Longwood graduate programs will be provided, will be held at Powhatan High School on Monday, April, 18 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Representatives from all 16 graduate programs will answer questions about licensure, certifications or endorsements, and graduate degree programs. Students may register for courses, buy books for a course, or apply to a Longwood graduate program. A schedule of on- and off-campus courses will be available.

Additional information about Longwood’s graduate programs may be found at www.longwood.edu/graduatestudies, or by calling Graduate Studies at 434.395.2707.

Longwood will offer graduate courses at Powhatan High School beginning in June. The first courses to be offered are required for licensure as a school administrator, reading specialist, special education teacher or for initial licensure as an elementary or secondary teacher. Additional programs and courses leading to initial licensure, certifications, endorsements, and/or master’s degrees will be offered each semester and summer at Powhatan High School by Longwood faculty.

Powhatan High School is eight miles south of the intersection of highways 288 and 60, just off 60 at 1800 Judes Ferry Rd.
