Parents & Family Programs
Welcome Longwood Families!
Whether this is your first student going to college or your third student, the Office of First Year Experience & Family Programs provides programs and resources to assist parents and families through this transitional experience. At Orientation and Registration, family members have an opportunity to learn about academics at Longwood, campus offices specializing in student services, and information about what to expect from your student and the University during the first year. There is also an opportunity at Orientation to meet with members of the Parents Council.
The Office of First Year Experience & Family Programs understands the importance of quality parent and family relationships in the successful educational experience of college students. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at firstyear@longwood.edu.
You can also visit the Longwood Family/Parent Webpage at www.longwood.edu/parents.
We are always happy to help!
