Orientation & Registration Programs
On-Line Sign Up for Orientation & Registration is now available!!
~ May 29th, May 31st & June 3rd Orientation
Sessions are closed. We have reached the capacity in these three sessions. There are no spaces available.
1. You will need to pay your $400 admissions deposit.
If you have questions about your deposit, please call the
Admissions office at 434.395.2060.
2. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will be mailed a
packet of information (all items available on-line- see box below) from the Office of First Year Experience containing
The Answer Book and an invitation to Orientation & Registration.
Please allow two weeks from the date of deposit to receive your information.
3. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will be mailed a letter
from the User Support Services Office (HELP Desk) containing your Longwood
Email Address and Longwood ID Number. You will need these items to
sign-up for Orientation & Registration. If you have
questions about your ID number or email address, please call the HELP Desk
at 434.395.4357.

There is a fee for Orientation & Registration. It is $75 per
student and $50 per guest. Please refer to the Frequently Asked
Questions document for information about the fee.

The Office of First Year Experience will send all students admitted for the
Fall, 2008 semester an invitation to attend the Orientation & Registration
program by email and snail mail. Invitations will be sent out once we have
received your deposit and intent to attend Longwood University.
At Summer Orientation & Registration, you will register for Fall semester
classes, learn about technology requirements, and about living at LU and
commuting to LU.
