First Year Student Orientation & Registration 2010
Congratulations! We are excited you have chosen to attend Longwood University! The next step in your matriculation process to Longwood is to attend Orientation & Registration. This is a one day program for new students and their families to provide information about the valuable resources on campus, clear up any questions you may have and allow students to sign up for housing and register for classes. Students will have the opportunity to meet upper class student leaders while parents learn more from faculty and administrators.
Using the links at the bottom of this page, students may now register for Summer Orientation & Registration. The student must have their username and password issued by Longwood to complete this form. Each student will be asked to preference three dates of attendance - we do our absolute best to make sure you receive your first choice. You will receive an email confirming your attendance date shortly after you register. Please note: Courses are reserved for each session of Orientation & Registration so students who come to our final session have the same opportunities as those who come on our first date!
Once you have committed to attending Longwood, you will receive a packet of information in the postal mail regarding Orientation & Registration along with your copy of The Answer Book 2010. PACKETS WILL BE MAILED BEGINNING MARCH 1, 2010. This publication is a valuable resource as provides information on just about every facet of the Longwood experience. Please take time to read the publication carefully and utilize the perforated forms in the rear for your convenience.

There is a flat fee of $150 for the attendance of one student and two guests during Orientation and Registration. This fee can be paid via credit card when registering, via check made to Longwood, or in cash on the day of Orientation. This fee covers meals during the program, all materials and supplies, Peer Mentor staff services, publication of the Answer Book and all aspects of the New Lancer Days program in August. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERING TO OUR TWO GUEST POLICY THIS YEAR AS OUR AUDITORIUM IS BEING RENOVATED AND WE WILL BE WORKING WITH SMALLER SPACES ON CAMPUS.
