Have you ever wondered how nursing students learned patient care?
One of the many things the Longwood University Nursing Program does to prepare them for the clinical setting is provide an integration of simulation throughout the curriculum. This often includes the use of manikins for students to practice assessment and skills. However, this spring we would like to supplement our scenarios with real people to help our students interact with potential patients, patient families and medical personnel.
