Experiential Learning Credit

The Longwood University Department of Nursing recognizes that students of the RN to BSN program are successful citizen leaders in their work environments, dedicated to providing quality healthcare.

We also recognize that as active professional nurses, each of you are engaged in practices that require competency evaluation and mandated professional in-services annually in order to stay current in your jobs and to maintain state licensure as an RN.

As a student in our RN to BSN program, you will have the option of earning 15 credit hours at no tuition cost!  That is a savings of >$5,000!  Below you will find complete instructional guidelines and a grading rubric to direct you as you complete an experiential learning credit portfolio.
