Greek Life
at Longwood . . .
When you first begin life at
Longwood, you immediately start to see the Greek influence on
campus life. With nine
CPC
sororities, seven IFC fraternities,
and six NPHC organizations there is a place for everyone and everyone can find their place.
As a freshman, you may not go through Recruitment until
your Spring semester. It is a requirement to have twelve
Longwood credits to go through Recruitment.
In
addition to the CPC and IFC organizations on campus, Longwood is
also home to many other NPHC groups. The
Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) serves as the official coordinating
agent of the nine national historically Black fraternities and
sororities. The NPHC is designed to assure that member
organizations cooperatively work together while maintaining
their distinct individual identities.
Letters today, Leaders tomorrow.
