"Comment" responses:

b/c we have dial-up at home, often use at work b/c it's faster

Access technology connection speed is very slow I miss Longwood's internet service

When I first moved to Farmville (2000), I was a telecommuter. It was a real challenge and disadvantage not to have any type of cable-modem or DSL access for my PC.

Cell phones don't work in portions of Rice, VA

I would prefer satellite TV, but my apartment complex doesn't allow it

my computer is not hooked up in my home yet. And about the business questions if your wondeing I dispatch for longwood campus police

Will cable ever come to the county?!

the internet connections in Rice are so slow-we connect at 19-21Kbps-that it is hardly worth having

the number of hours use by the land line is due to the fact that we hook our computer up to the land line to access the internet and e-mail

We need a cell phone tower close to Hampden-Sydney College

I don't know what "needed on call 24/7" means

Fire and EMS pager

"Walkie Talkie" refers to a fire dept. pager

Personal pager for on-call
