Students transferring to Virginia Tech and successfully completing the curriculum will earn the Bachelor of Science in engineering.

What are the requirements for admission into the dual degree program at Virginia Tech?
In addition to completing the additional course work below, the student should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
What additional courses are required before transfer?
Math 343 Linear Algebra
EF 1015 and 1016, Introduction to Engineering
ESM 2104, Statics (Not required for Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering Majors); these courses may be taken at Virginia Tech in the summer before transfer (they may also be taken at another, pre-approved institution including, but not limited to, the Virginia Community College System.
