Who We Are

The office of Integrated Security Systems (OISS) is a division of the Police Department and is located in the basement of Dorrill building in the Police station. Our office handles both the Lenel On-Guard security system, which deals with access control and Lenel door issues, and two Video Security systems within the campus community. In addition, our office will oversee the Accreditation and Assessment process for the Police Department as well as overseeing a variety of other duties and responsibilities. Please direct all inquiries or issues regarding access, door maintenance, or video security to Debra A. Our Mission

The mission of the office of Integrated Security Systems is to protect students, faculty and staff at Longwood University by utilizing, enhancing, and developing a secure environment. It is a goal of this office to maximize the use of current technologies in order to deliver efficient services regarding physical security and it's components to the Longwood campus community.
