Officer Myers received his police training at the Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Training Academy. He worked for the City of Newport News Police Department before moving to Southside Virginia. At that time Officer Myers was employed by the Town of Kenbridge Police Department where he was the Field Training Officer, Radar Instructor, Intoxilyzer Certified Officer and the Thermal Imaging Operator. Furthering his law enforcement career, he joined up with the Town of Blackstone and the Town of Crewe in Nottoway County.
In his spare time Officer Myers spends time with his wife and young daughter. He likes to fish, golf and hike the woods at his family's farm. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible in and around the water, be it at the pool or at the beach.
