Police Need Assistance With Identification

Composite of suspect in investigation

The Farmville Police Department is investigating the sexual assault of a former Longwood Student during the fall of 1988. New information has surfaced relating to this investigation and we are seeking help in attempting to identify a person matching the description of the above composite drawing. The person illustrated in this drawing could have been a student, employee, or frequent visitor to the campus of Longwood College during the fall of 1988. This composite drawing depicts what the suspect could have looked like twenty-two years ago. POLICE SEEKING PUBLIC’S HELP WITH FOOD LION BURGLARY

FARMVILLE, VA -  During the early morning hours of Monday October 28, 2013, Farmville Police responded to an audible burglary alarm at the Food Lion grocery store, at 1592 S. Main St.Police found no one in the building, however, security cameras recorded an  unidentified male suspect at various locations inside of the closed business. The suspect fled the scene, moments before police arrival.The suspect is described as a medium skinned male, approximately 6’0 tall, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing a dark green ball cap, yellow and black striped "rugby style" long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes, carrying a black backpack. The suspect also had what appeared to be white cotton work gloves with blue rubber palms, on his hands.Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact the Farmville Police Department at (434) 392-3332 or (434) 392-9259.
